Camila Homs’s father defends Alejandro Stoessel amid dispute with Tini

Horacio Homs has entered the dispute between singer Tini Stoessel and her father, producer Alejandro Stoessel, by publicly taking the producer’s side.

The family conflict grew after Tini requested an audit to establish the state of her assets. She then learned that she reportedly had no control or equity stake in a fortune estimated at $70 million. The controversy has drawn comments from her father’s lawyer, Agustín Rodríguez, as well as Moria Casán, Gloria Carrá and relatives of Camila Homs, Horacio’s daughter and the former partner of footballer Rodrigo de Paul.

Asked about the distance between Tini and Alejandro, Horacio said: “What I see here is a very ill father who wanted to protect his daughter’s assets, and a daughter who wants to become independent. I don’t see much more than that.” He later added: “They are destroying the man, and in my view, what he wanted to do was protect his daughter’s assets, while she must want to separate her assets. So they need to reach an agreement. I do not believe that a father, putting it plainly, would want to rip off his daughter.”

Homs also criticized journalists covering the dispute. “I think you are being very cruel, because nobody knows the truth, and neither do I,” he said. “You are greatly exaggerating the case.” Marina Calabró responded that the conflict became public after Tini herself disclosed the situation. She also noted that Tini did not mention her father during her first show in Guadalajara, Mexico, after the controversy became public.

Calabró further recalled that Homs had accused Rodrigo de Paul of taking advantage of his financial resources during his relationship with Camila. Homs did not retreat from his defense of Stoessel. “They are speaking very badly about a person who is ill,” he said, referring to the producer’s health problems in recent years. “You cannot smear a person as much as they are smearing him.” Luis Ventura then asked about Homs’s current relationship with de Paul after the footballer’s name arose during the television exchange.
