Camp out at La Aurora Zoo for a night of learning and fun

Families in Guatemala City can now experience a unique overnight adventure at the La Aurora Zoo with its "Night at the Zoo" camping event. This program blends educational opportunities about wildlife with fun, outdoor family activities, allowing participants to camp amidst the zoo's diverse animal inhabitants.

The zoo invites visitors to "Live a different experience and learn about animals, their sounds and behaviors, while sharing a night outdoors within the zoo." Past events have included morning bird watching, offering a serene start to the day. The package includes dinner, breakfast, parking, and zoo admission, providing a comprehensive experience for attendees.

This special event is scheduled for July 4, 2026, with check-in beginning at 3 p.m. at the La Aurora Zoo, located at 5a. calle, finca La Aurora, zona 13, Guatemala City.
