Can Tho Authorities Uncover Multiple Violations at Tuệ Minh International Dental Clinic

Authorities in Can Tho City, Vietnam, have uncovered significant violations at the Nha Khoa Quốc tế Tuệ Minh dental clinic during a surprise inspection. The inspection, conducted on June 26 by the Can Tho City Police in coordination with the Department of Health, revealed that the clinic was operating without essential permits and legal documentation for its medical services.

During the inspection at the clinic located in Long My ward, officials found that neither the owner nor the person responsible for technical operations were present. Furthermore, the staff directly involved in patient care and dental procedures lacked the required specialized licenses for dentistry. Some employees reportedly held qualifications only in nursing, medical testing, or pharmacy, with one possessing a degree in e-commerce, none of whom had the necessary certifications for oral and maxillofacial practice. All personnel working at the clinic also lacked formal employment contracts.

Adding to the list of infractions, the clinic failed to produce invoices or documentation proving the origin of its medical equipment, medicines, and supplies. In response to these serious breaches of regulations, the inspection team documented the violations and proceeded to seal all medical machinery and equipment within the premises.

Authorities stated that this is not the first instance of issues with dental clinics in the area. The Can Tho City Police noted that several Nha Khoa Quốc tế Tuệ Minh branches had simultaneously closed and ceased operations on the day of the inspection. Some of these branches had previously been fined and ordered to suspend operations by regulatory bodies.
