Caps United Coach Targets Cup Competition Success

CAPS United coach Takesure Chiragwi is determined to challenge for trophies in upcoming cup competitions, emphasizing the team's ambition to add to the club's decorated history. Chiragwi's comments follow a hard-fought 3-2 victory against Simba Bhora in the Chibuku Super Cup Round of 16.

This win came shortly after a commanding 6-0 triumph over Scottland Academy in the ZIFA Munhumutapa Cup, which propelled CAPS United into the round of 16 in that competition as well. The team, known as the 'Cup Kings,' still has opportunities to secure silverware this year, provided they maintain their current form.

Despite an initially strong start to their campaign, CAPS United experienced a dip in form, which impacted their league title aspirations. CAPS United's last major silverware was the league championship in 2016.
