Former "Provjereno" editor and host Ivana Paradžiković recently embarked on a hiking trip to the Prokletije mountains with two friends, an adventure that took a dramatic turn when their car broke down in a remote mountain area in Albania.

Paradžiković shared on Instagram that their journey ended abruptly on a dark mountain road. "The car broke down! The video also showed the friends struggling, with one exclaiming, "I hate hiking!" and another receiving stitches for a cut chin.

Local residents eventually came to their aid, as depicted in the video montage which was edited like a suspenseful movie trailer. The visuals included scenes of packing belongings in black trash bags in the dark, emphasizing the chaos they experienced. However, the narrative shifted to showcase the unexpected beauty and hospitality they encountered.

Despite the car trouble and injuries, the trip offered breathtaking views of the Prokletije mountains, including swimming in a mountain lake. The video also highlighted heartwarming interactions with local people, with one caption stating, "But we experienced the best of the Balkans: the people."
