Car flips multiple times in dramatic highway crash captured on camera

An alarming accident occurred on the Pan-American Highway when a driver lost control of his vehicle, resulting in a spectacular rollover. The incident, captured by security cameras, shows the car flipping through the air before coming to rest.

The event took place on Sunday near kilometer 41 of the highway, in the Manuel Alberti area. For reasons still under investigation, a 30-year-old man veered off the main road onto the shoulder. His vehicle then collided with the terrain, flipping several times before impacting a tree.

Footage from a security camera shows the driver deviating from the highway and descending sharply down a green embankment. The driver, identified as a merchant, was unable to brake or slow down sufficiently to avoid the steep drop. The front right side of his Fiat 500 Abarth apparently struck an elevated section of the ground, causing the white car to spin abruptly and become airborne, completing two full rotations.

After its aerial maneuvers, the car landed on its side, then bounced, initiating another rotation before ultimately crashing onto the grass against a tree. Subsequent images reveal the car severely damaged at both the front and rear, with visible dents along its sides. The accident occurred around 9:40 PM, heading towards Buenos Aires, during a period of low visibility, although the area is reportedly well-lit. The driver was transported to the Central Hospital of Pilar with multiple injuries but is not in life-threatening condition. The case has been classified as "injuries due to accident."
