Carabobo Industrialists Aid Families Affected by Morón Earthquakes

The Carabobo State Industrialists Chamber (Ciec) partnered with Fundación Empresas Polar and other affiliated companies to deliver comprehensive aid to families impacted by recent earthquakes in Morón, Venezuela. The "Solidarity Alliance for Well-being" initiative deployed resources across four key locations within the affected parish.

Tanais Wehbe, president of Ciec's Social Development Commission, highlighted the significance of joint efforts during crises. "These collaborations demonstrate that when the private sector unites with a community vision, the positive impact transcends the material to restore hope and a sense of security to our populations," she stated.

The aid program included a breakfast service for 50 children at the Santa Ana Church, accompanied by recreational activities. Simultaneously, a conference on managing post-traumatic stress was held at the House of Culture, alongside a workshop on psychological first aid. Medical assistance was also provided to over 270 residents in the vulnerable Bloques Cadafe area.

Furthermore, the Ciec delivered medical supplies to the General Hospital of Morón and the local health center. Dr. Marioly Ruiz, president of Ciec's Health Commission, stressed the importance of ongoing psycho-emotional support for the community's recovery, stating, "These citizens, beyond physical reconstruction, will require sustained support and psycho-emotional accompaniment to regain calm, a sense of security, and hope."
