Carla Roccuzzo: The doctor sister of Antonela Roccuzzo who prefers a low profile

While her sister Antonela Roccuzzo is married to global soccer superstar Lionel Messi, Carla Roccuzzo has carved out a life away from the spotlight, prioritizing her medical career.

Carla studied medicine at the National University of Rosario (UNR). Her mother described her as the most "practical and rational" of her daughters. After leaving home at a young age, Carla lived in Bariloche and Buenos Aires before pursuing her surgical career. She also spent time in the United States to further her professional training.

Despite the immense fame of her sister and brother-in-law, Carla has consistently chosen a private life. Her social media presence is limited, with a private Instagram account. Respecting her privacy, Antonela Roccuzzo has also reduced public posts featuring her sister in recent years.

Carla Roccuzzo has, however, shown support for her sister and Messi, notably serving as a godmother at their wedding in Rosario on June 30, 2017. More recently, on December 23, 2023, she married her colleague Damián Vanzini in a ceremony held in Rosario. The intimate wedding was attended by Antonela, her children Thiago, Mateo, and Ciro, and Lionel Messi himself.
