Carlos Tévez dines with 'Messi of wine' Alejandro Vigil

Carlos Tévez, the former football star now a coach, recently shared a meal with Alejandro Vigil, a winemaker widely known as "the Messi of wine," at Vigil's Estancia Vigil estate in Cardales. The encounter highlighted the mutual admiration between the two personalities from different fields who have developed a friendship over the years.

During their meeting, Tévez, accompanied by his family, updated Vigil on his current endeavors, including his newfound enthusiasm for paddle tennis. He also extended an invitation to Vigil to explore his latest business venture. In return, Vigil invited Tévez to participate in the Buenos Aires edition of his Chachingo Wine Fair.

The culinary experience at Estancia Vigil was prepared by the estate's chef, Diego Irato. The menu included a selection of special offal dishes and grilled meats, with a standout being a ribeye steak slow-cooked for over 12 hours. The wines served were equally notable, with the highlight being As Bravas 2019, a wine from Vigil's El Enemigo line that has received a perfect 100-point score and is featured in the Museo Vigil.
