CBSE Class 10 Second Board Exam 2026 Results Declared

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has declared the results for its Class 10 Second Board Examination 2026. This examination, a new initiative under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, offers students a second chance to take their board exams within the same academic year.

The main examination for Class 10 students took place from February 17 to March 11, 2026. The subsequent second board examination was conducted from May 15 to May 21, 2026. Students can access their results and digital marksheets via the DigiLocker platform.

Nearly 6.64 lakh students registered for this second examination. Of the 5,13,955 candidates who took the exam to improve their scores, 3,08,095 achieved better results, marking an improvement rate of 59.95 percent. Additionally, the pass percentage for students in the compartment category rose to 52.40 percent, up from 48.68 percent in 2025.

Overall, when combining results from both the main and second examinations, the pass percentage for the Class 10 Class of 2026 stands at 96.78 percent.
