CBSE launches class 12 verification and re-evaluation portal after technical delay

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has finally launched its long-awaited verification and re-evaluation portal for Class 12 students, ending a period of uncertainty. The portal became operational on Tuesday after facing delays attributed to technical glitches and cybersecurity concerns.

CBSE Headquarters announced the portal's activation via X, urging students to carefully follow the application process. "Dearest Students, The verification and re-evaluation portal is now LIVE! Please watch the video carefully for step-by-step instructions on how to apply for Verification of Marks and re-evaluation," the board stated.

The launch follows a day after a CBSE official confirmed the delay, which had originally been scheduled for June 1. This postponement had fueled anxiety among students and parents, particularly after earlier reports of issues during the answer-sheet access process. CBSE had initially aimed for a transparent and seamless process starting June 1, 2026, emphasizing high standards and evaluation protocols.

To address student concerns, CBSE has advised those facing difficulties to contact the Tele-Counselling Helpline at 1800 11 8004 or email resultcbse2026@cbseshiksha.in. The board also confirmed that cybersecurity experts from government agencies and IITs were engaged to strengthen the platform's security. Identified vulnerabilities have been contained, and additional checks are ongoing to ensure a secure post-result process.
