CBSE opens portal for Class 12 results re-evaluation, verification of marks after multiple delays

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has launched a dedicated portal for students to verify their Class 12 marks and apply for re-evaluation, addressing recent delays in result dissemination. The board urges students to review instructional videos on the portal before submitting applications, which offer step-by-step guidance.

Previously, the CBSE Class 12 Re-Evaluation portal was slated to open on June 1. Candidates seeking re-evaluation or verification can access the direct link on the official CBSE website, cbse.gov.in. This facility is exclusively for students who have already requested photocopies of their answer books.

To proceed with re-evaluation, applicants must consult the subject's marking scheme, available on the website alongside the question paper. They can then submit a reasoned application for re-evaluation of specific questions. The fees are set at ₹500 per answer book for verification and ₹100 per question for re-evaluation. The portal is expected to remain open for at least two days after the scanned answer books are provided to applicants.
