The criminal proceedings are ongoing at Bareskrim Polri. Any member of the Polri who commits a criminal act or violates the Code of Professional Ethics will be processed firmly according to the prevailing laws and regulations without exception.

While the internal police investigation proceeds, the criminal aspects of the case fall under the purview of the National Police's Criminal Investigation Unit (Bareskrim Polri). The victim's legal counsel stated that the abuse, which began in 2022 shortly after their marriage, escalated significantly in 2025. The victim reportedly endured beatings, confinement, threats, and sexual misconduct before being abandoned at a hospital, leading to the discovery of the alleged crimes.
