In a significant crackdown on financial fraud, Nazaret "N", the CEO and founder of Metaxchange Capital, has been apprehended by the Investigative Police in Mexico City. The arrest stems from allegations that she orchestrated a sophisticated pyramid scheme, preying on investors with promises of lucrative returns. Metaxchange Capital operated under the guise of legitimate investments, utilizing contracts, offices, and bank accounts to create a facade of credibility.

Agents of the @PDI_FGJCDMX, through a search of a property in Polanco, arrested Nazaret “N”, identified as the central figure of MetaXchange, a company investigated for a fraud scheme that operated under the facade of investments in Mexico City.

According to the capital's prosecutor, Bertha Alcalde Luján, the scheme initially paid out promised returns, lulling clients into a false sense of security. However, as is characteristic of such fraudulent operations, the payments eventually ceased, leaving a trail of devastated investors. The investigation, led by the FGJ, identified a consistent pattern of deception, leading not only to Nazaret's arrest but also to the detention of associates Patrick "N" and Mariana "N".

The impact of this alleged fraud is substantial, with actress Sandra Echeverría publicly denouncing Nazaret "N" and Metaxchange Capital for failing to pay her investment returns for 18 months. Echeverría claims that over a thousand clients have been defrauded, with more than 200 formal complaints filed against the company's legal representatives. She further asserted that Metaxchange Capital amassed over 2 billion pesos in deposits from its clients, highlighting the scale of the alleged financial crime and the urgent need for regulatory oversight in the investment sector.
