Cepillín’s son says he was hurt by Ernesto Laguardia’s comments about his father

Ricardo González, the son of Mexican clown and entertainer Cepillín, says Ernesto Laguardia’s description of an old encounter with his father left him disappointed.

Laguardia recalled during La Casa de los Famosos México that Cepillín had reprimanded him during a performance in Mexico City. The actor said the incident embarrassed him in front of his wife and three children, and that he later felt angry when Cepillín asked him to sing onstage.

González remembers the event differently. He said he was also present and believed Laguardia and his family had enjoyed the show. “It made me very sad, his words, saying that my father had scolded him during the performance,” González said, adding that Laguardia might have misunderstood his father’s manner of speaking.

González has continued his father’s work as a clown. He said he had supported Laguardia on social media after the actor became a contestant on the reality show’s fourth season, based on two experiences he remembered as positive. “I had been supporting Ernesto because the two experiences I had with him were very nice, and there had always been a good relationship,” he said.

He also said Cepillín had worked as an entertainer for other housemates, including Cynthia Klitbo, Mariana Ochoa and Yahir, and that none of them had described similar problems. The comments have left González questioning why Laguardia remembers his father in such a negative way.
