Ceramicist Frederik Rappé has Rolling Stone Ronnie Wood sign his own artwork in London

Belgian ceramic artist Frederik Rappé experienced a memorable evening in London after meeting his idol, Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood. Rappé, 50, from Blankenberge, traveled to London to attend Wood's concert and present him with a unique gift: a handmade ceramic plate adorned with Wood's likeness.

Rappé had proactively contacted Wood's entourage to arrange the delivery of his artwork. To his surprise, his request was granted, and he was permitted to deliver the ceramic piece to the artist's entrance on Friday evening. Following the concert, Wood briefly greeted fans before departing in a waiting car.

I took contact with his entourage beforehand to design and deliver self-made ceramics.

However, Wood's wife, Sally, noticed Rappé and his ceramic creation. She approached Rappé, took a small signed plate, and had her husband sign it for the artist while still in the car. This signed plate now holds a special place in Rappé's studio as a cherished souvenir.

Ultimately, it was agreed that I could deliver the ceramics to the artist's entrance on Friday.

Adding to the memorable night, Rappé also received a guitar pick from Wood during the performance at the O2 Forum Kentish Town. Rappé described the evening as "simply a moment never to forget," noting that both Sally and Ronnie Wood are now following his work on social media and express admiration for it.

His wife Sally saw me standing there, came up to me and took a small ceramic plate with her. In the car, Sally had her husband sign it for me.
