Çeşme Municipality Enhances City Life with Park and Sports Facility Renovations

Çeşme Municipality is actively pursuing a comprehensive renovation of parks and sports facilities throughout the district. Mayor Lâl Denizli, accompanied by Park and Gardens Director Kürşat Yıldırım, inspected ongoing and completed projects. The initiative includes the renewal of children's play areas, sports fields, walking paths, and social spaces. To date, around 6,000 square meters of rubber flooring have been replaced in 28 parks and sports areas. Additionally, 20,000 square meters of paving and curbing have been installed district-wide. Five sports fields have also been modernized with new synthetic turf, fencing, and structural systems, enhancing safety and usability. Mayor Denizli highlighted the strengthening of the district's sports infrastructure through the creation of new padel and pickleball courts in several parks. The municipality aims to increase access to areas that promote active lifestyles for citizens of all ages. New "Pati Parks" for pets and planned projects like the Mavi Kelebek Memorial Park and a new sports complex in Ilıca are also part of the development plan. Denizli stated, "We continue to increase social living spaces where our children can play safely, our youth can play sports, and all our neighbors can spend time enjoyably. Our teams are working with great dedication to create greener, safer, and more livable parks in every neighborhood of Çeşme. We are closely monitoring these efforts by our Park and Gardens Directorate and implementing projects that will add value to our city one by one."
