Chae Eun-seong still considers Kim Hyun-soo the top player, despite team change

Despite now playing for the Hanwha Eagles, outfielder Chae Eun-seong maintains that Kim Hyun-soo remains the No. 1 player in his book.

Chae Eun-seong, who played alongside Kim Hyun-soo on the LG Twins, credits his former teammate with significantly influencing his development as a player. "As someone I've experienced it with, (Kim) Hyun-soo hyung is number one," Chae stated, referring to Kim Hyun-soo, who now plays for the KT Wiz.

This sentiment comes despite a recent series where Chae Eun-seong showcased strong performance against Kim Hyun-soo's team. During a three-game road series against the KT Wiz last weekend, Chae recorded seven hits in 12 at-bats, demonstrating his offensive capabilities. However, his individual success did not translate into team victories, as the Hanwha Eagles were swept in the series.

While Chae Eun-seong's admiration for Kim Hyun-soo is clear, the Hanwha Eagles continue to struggle, having lost all three games in the recent series. The team's performance highlights ongoing challenges despite individual player efforts.
