Chain theft victim in Dworp; suspects arrested

A woman in Dworp became the victim of a brazen street robbery Friday morning when an unknown man snatched her gold necklaces directly from her neck.

The incident occurred just before the woman reached her home. According to her daughter-in-law, who shared the account on social media, the man, described as wearing a white cap, fled the scene through the Rastelbos area and escaped in a dark car driven by an accomplice. The quick actions of the police, however, led to the apprehension of both suspects shortly after the theft.
