Changhua County Awards Over NT$5 Million to 49 Schools for Top Achievements; Lu Dong Elementary Named Top Earner

Changhua County has distributed over NT$5 million in prize money to 49 schools, recognizing their outstanding performance in national and international competitions. Lu Dong Elementary School emerged as the top recipient, securing NT$360,000 for its exceptional achievements in dance, reading programs, and the World Internet Project. This initiative, part of the "Five-Star Flagship School" certification, has been awarding funds for four years, with this year's total prize money doubling that of the first year. The program aims to foster educational competitiveness by encouraging schools to actively participate in challenges and push their boundaries. County Magistrate Wang Hui-mei emphasized that the "prize money has no upper limit," underscoring the county's commitment to rewarding excellence. Lu Dong Elementary, despite not having a formal dance class, has consistently excelled in dance competitions through its club, alongside strong showings in reading education and the World Internet Project, contributing to its record-breaking prize.
