Colombian singer Charlie Zaa has addressed legal measures taken against some of his family's assets, emphasizing that the judicial process is in its initial phase. He stated that no definitive ruling has been made against him and that no final decision has been reached regarding the seizure of property.

Through a public statement, Zaa asserted that his career and family's wealth have been built over more than three decades with "honest work, effort, and dedication." He urged for the judicial process to unfold before any conclusions are drawn. "The process related to some of my family's assets is still ongoing. There is no sentence against me, no judicial decision has declared our assets illicit, and there is no final decision of forfeiture," the artist expressed.

Zaa's defense team is reportedly presenting evidence to demonstrate the legitimate origin of the investigated assets. He affirmed his commitment to transparency and continued cooperation with Colombian justice. "I have always appeared before the authorities with complete transparency and will continue to collaborate with Colombian justice whenever required. I fully trust due process, the presumption of innocence, and that evidence, not headlines, will establish the truth," he added.

Despite the ongoing legal proceedings, Charlie Zaa plans to continue his artistic schedule, including his "Nacer de Nuevo" tour. The investigation, according to the newspaper El Tiempo, involves assets linked to the singer, whose real name is Carlos Alberto Sánchez Ramírez. These assets, valued at over 45.4 billion Colombian pesos, are reportedly connected to an investigation into alleged ties with the extinct Tolima Bloc of the United Self-Defense Forces of Colombia (AUC).
