Charly López questions Patricia Manterola's solo success, compares her to Pilar Montenegro

Singer Charly López has publicly questioned the solo career of Patricia Manterola, his former bandmate from the popular 90s group Garibaldi. López stated he is unaware of any successful songs from Manterola's solo work, contrasting her with another ex-Garibaldi member, Pilar Montenegro, whose song "Quítenme ese hombre" was a hit. López made these remarks while promoting "La Máquina del Tiempo," a musical show featuring various 90s artists. He emphasized that his comments stem from personal perception and are not intended as an insult, noting that Manterola sings well but lacks a recognized hit. López also mentioned that his group, GB5 (a current lineup of ex-Garibaldi members), had to cancel concerts due to Manterola's demands for preferential treatment during the 90's Pop Tour. He clarified that despite their past collaboration, they are not close friends.
