The photos accompanying his post showed Ahn smiling while preparing food and cooking alongside his colleagues in the kitchen. He included the hashtag '#HowToSpendYourVacation'. However, some observant netizens noted his appearance, with comments such as, "Why do you look so thin?"

This update follows a controversy in May concerning wine service at Mosu, Ahn's restaurant. He had previously issued an apology regarding the incident. According to Ahn, a staff member mistakenly served a 2005 vintage wine instead of the intended 2000 vintage.

The situation escalated when the staff member, upon realizing the error, did not immediately inform the customer. Furthermore, when the customer requested a photo, the staff member presented a 2000 vintage bottle, which was not the one actually served, compounding the misrepresentation.
