Cheng Chao-fang Reports Achievements to Village Chiefs, Vows to Expand Zhubei Experience to Transform Hsinchu County

Democratic Progressive Party nominee for Hsinchu County Magistrate, Cheng Chao-fang, immediately convened a meeting with village chiefs following his nomination for the 2026 election. He presented his policy achievements to solidify support, using the newly renovated Fude Library in Zhubei City as a testament to his governance capabilities.

Addressing the potential challenges from a united Kuomintang and Taiwan People's Party, Cheng highlighted that his policies and actions speak for themselves. He believes a breakthrough in Hsinchu County would signify a new era, breaking traditional party loyalties and ushering in a complete transformation. During the meeting, Cheng detailed construction progress and challenges in each village. He specifically pointed to a section in the Fude Library where readers might need a hand-held lamp to find books, a design intended to honor those in remote areas who studied by lamplight in the past. The library, hailed as "Zhubei's most beautiful library," is nearing its opening.
