Now, the former Chivas academy product will feature in the USL Championship. The official announcement followed reports from Fabrizio Romano confirming the transfer.

Atlético Dallas, a club founded in 2024, welcomed their new forward with a dynamic video. The accompanying narration included the line, "A new beast in the land of the wolf and the serpent, and when it appears, not even they can ignore it." At the conclusion of the video, Hernández, a three-time World Cup participant for Mexico, delivered a message: "This is not the end, it is just the beginning."
