Chihuahua Governor Invites Public to World Cup Celebrations with Giant Screens

Chihuahua Governor Maru Campos Galván has invited residents to celebrate the World Cup, announcing public viewing events across the state. Giant high-resolution LED screens will broadcast the tournament's opening ceremony and all of Mexico's matches in Cuauhtémoc, Parral, Delicias, Juárez, and the capital city, Chihuahua.

In Chihuahua city, the Plaza del Ángel will serve as the main venue. It will feature sports activation areas, promotional giveaways, social zones, and food and beverage vendors. For fans in other cities, viewing events will take place at the Estadio Monumental in Cuauhtémoc, the Gran Estadio de Béisbol in Delicias, the Plaza de la Identidad in Parral, and the Plaza Principal in Jiménez.

The governor confirmed that the festivities begin on June 11 with the opening match between Mexico and South Africa. Subsequent matches on June 18 (vs. South Korea) and June 24 (vs. Czechia) will also be broadcast. Additional public transmissions are planned if the Mexican team advances to later stages of the competition.

The program also includes broadcasts of the semifinal matches on July 14 and 15, and the final on July 19. Governor Campos urged citizens to follow the state government's official social media channels for more details on venues, dates, and times.
