Children fill the capital’s streets with blue and white ahead of Honduras’ independence anniversary

Blue and white filled streets across Tegucigalpa and Comayagüela on Sunday as hundreds of preschool and elementary-school children took part in Honduras’ traditional patriotic parades.

The celebrations came ahead of the country’s 205th anniversary of independence and brought students from different sectors of the capital into the streets.
