Chilean police dismiss five officers for unauthorized Ozempic use

The Chilean police force in Los Angeles has dismissed five officers for illicitly consuming Ozempic. The disciplinary action was taken after a routine drug test revealed the unauthorized use of the medication. According to the institution's statement, at least three of the dismissed officers failed to provide a medical prescription for Ozempic.

Carabineros protocol requires officers to declare any substance use before or upon starting treatment. "If there are medications (in your system), it must be with a prior medical prescription, which was not presented in certain cases, and that is why this decision was made," stated Julio Anativia, the presidential delegate for the Biobío region.
