Chimbu Division of Education rolls out SBC training to all teachers

Teachers across Chimbu Province in Papua New Guinea are participating in crucial in-service training sessions focused on the Standard-Based Curriculum (SBC). The initiative, spanning from June 29 to July 3, 2026, aims to equip educators with the necessary skills and knowledge to implement the new curriculum effectively.

The training encompasses both National and Provincial In-Service Training components, ensuring a comprehensive approach to the curriculum rollout. Educators from a wide range of institutions, including primary, high, secondary, and Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) schools, are actively involved in the orientation program.
