Chivas Femenil Stays Unstoppable with Third Straight Victory

Chivas Femenil continued their dominant run in the Mexican women's Apertura tournament, securing their third straight win by defeating San Luis 3-1. The victory, achieved on Sunday, keeps the Guadalajara team undefeated and at the top of their performance early in the season.

Alicia Cervantes opened the scoring for Chivas in the ninth minute with a header. San Luis, however, responded in the 24th minute when Enyerliannys Higuera capitalized on a defensive error to equalize. Higuera's goal marked a brief period of parity before Chivas regained the lead.

Just before halftime, Jasmine Cásarez restored Chivas' advantage with a header in the 38th minute, assisted by Gaby Valenzuela. The momentum continued into the second half, with Joseline Montoya sealing the victory for Guadalajara in the early stages of the second period.

With this win, Chivas Femenil has accumulated nine points, positioning them strongly in the league standings. San Luis, despite a spirited effort, remains with three points after the third matchday. The Apertura tournament continues with several other matches scheduled for Monday.
