South Korean striker Cho Gue-sung has once again proven his aerial prowess, scoring a crucial header in the UEFA Europa Conference League playoffs. This marks his second consecutive game with a headed goal, a feat that has helped his Danish club, FC Midtjylland, secure a spot in the tournament's main draw.

The 28-year-old forward, a key player for the South Korean national team, came on as a substitute in the second leg against HNK Rijeka of Croatia. In the 78th minute, he met a corner kick with a powerful header, extending Midtjylland's lead to 3-1. This goal effectively sealed the tie, following his match-winning header in the first leg.

FC Midtjylland dominated the playoff tie, winning 6-1 on aggregate. Their progression places them in the third-tier European club competition, below the Champions League and Europa League. Meanwhile, another South Korean player, Kang Hee, and his Austrian club, Austria Wien, were less fortunate. They were eliminated after a 0-0 draw in their second-leg match against Braga, resulting in a 0-2 aggregate loss.
