Bektaş is part of Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu's "holiday delegation." Kılıçdaroğlu was able to return to his position as party chairman through a court decision after losing the election at the party's congress. Özbakış's resignation underscores the ongoing internal divisions within the CHP, particularly concerning leadership.
