CHP's Özel: 'You cannot make this nation kneel'

CHP leader Özgür Özel addressed supporters at a "People's Gathering" in Lüleburgaz, Kırklareli, launching a strong defense of his party against perceived external pressures. He vowed that despite any attacks or cruelty, "you cannot defeat us." Özel drew a parallel between the party's struggle and the plight of Silivri Mayor Bora Balcıoğu, who he stated was detained on "slander and injustice" for standing firm. The leader also voiced support for miners who began a hunger strike underground, warning relevant ministers that he would hold them accountable if any miner was harmed.
