CHP Youth Leader Attacked with Brass Knuckle in Turkey

Eren Eren, the head of the Republican People's Party (CHP) Osmaniye Merkez District Youth Branch, was assaulted by a group of eight individuals as he was about to get into his car. He sustained injuries to his head from a brass knuckle and is currently undergoing medical treatment, with his condition reported as stable.

The attack occurred as Eren Eren was leaving a shopping center. The group reportedly surrounded him and proceeded to attack him. Following the incident, police initiated an examination of the area and launched a broad investigation to capture the suspects involved in the assault. The motive behind the attack is still under investigation.

CHP Osmaniye Deputy Asu Kaya commented on the incident via social media, suggesting the attack was carried out by supporters of "absolute nullity" and "collaborators." She stated that Eren Eren was targeted because he stood firm and did not bow to those seeking positions, implying that the attackers resorted to violence because they lacked the strength of ideas. Kaya vowed that the party would not abandon Eren Eren or any other member, asserting that such violent methods would only strengthen their resolve.
