Chun Ha-ram alleges defense minister nominee obtained Seocho apartment through false registration

Reform Party acting leader and floor leader Chun Ha-ram alleged that defense minister nominee Kang Shin-chul used a false address registration to obtain a special apartment allocation in Seoul’s Seocho District.

Chun made the claim during a news conference at the National Assembly on the 6th. He said Kang deliberately registered at a false address to secure the status of a displaced resident.

According to Chun’s allegation, that status enabled Kang to receive a special allocation reserved for displaced residents. Chun said the Seocho apartment is currently worth 2.2 billion won.
