CHV journalist dismissed six months after joining morning show

Journalist Jorge Hans has been dismissed from the morning program "Contigo en la mañana" at Chilevisión, just six months after joining the channel. Hans, who specialized in police reporting, was reportedly let go due to a "poor evaluation" and an inability to adapt to the demands of the morning show format.

Hans joined Chilevisión in December, viewing it as a "great challenge" in his career. His role was primarily as a police reporter for the morning broadcast. However, according to reports, the channel was not satisfied with his performance and felt he did not integrate well into the program's style.

With 28 years of experience in journalism, Hans has a significant background, including extensive work at Canal 13. He also had occasional appearances on La Red's "Mentiras Verdaderas" and served as an editor for TVN Red Coquimbo until November 2025. His hiring at Chilevisión was considered a key acquisition by Julio César Rodríguez, a prominent figure at the channel.
