CIA chief warned Moscow on Ukraine, Iran, and NATO territory attacks: report

CIA Director John Ratcliffe reportedly made a secret visit to Moscow this past week, delivering a stark assessment of Russia's situation in the Ukraine war and urging the Kremlin to seriously consider peace negotiations.

During meetings with FSB head Aleksander Bortnikov and SVR foreign intelligence chief Sergei Naryshkin, Ratcliffe conveyed the U.S. stance. Notably, the CIA chief did not issue threats of retaliation if Russia ignored these warnings and continued its military actions.

In addition to the Ukraine conflict, Ratcliffe also warned Moscow to halt economic and military support for Iran.
