CineStar Novi Zagreb Completes Major Renovation, Entering New Era of Premium Cinema Experience

CineStar Novi Zagreb, a landmark cinema that has welcomed nearly 8 million visitors since its opening in 2007, has unveiled a comprehensive renovation, marking the largest investment in its renewal. The project completely reimagines the cinema's entrance and all seven screening rooms, aiming to elevate the movie-going experience.

The extensive upgrades involved a multi-phase construction to allow the cinema to remain operational. The total investment for the reconstruction and multiplex outfitting reached approximately 4 million euros. Each of the seven halls now boasts a distinct visual identity with new carpeting, wall coverings, and decorative lighting, creating a unique ambiance for every visitor.

A major highlight is the introduction of new VIP zones, significantly raising the standard of comfort. All 1,118 seats have been replaced with new generation models, including options for individuals with disabilities. Standard seats now feature leather recliners, while the VIP Premium zones offer couples' seating with electric controls for independent adjustment of backrests and leg rests, complemented by a small table and ambient lamp between each pair.

Beyond the aesthetic and comfort enhancements, CineStar Novi Zagreb maintains its commitment to cutting-edge technology. This includes an eXtreme hall with a wall-to-wall, floor-to-ceiling screen, digital laser projectors, RealD 3D, and Dolby Digital 7.1 Surround EX sound systems across all venues. For families, two new party rooms have been added across two floors, designed to offer memorable birthday celebrations with beloved film characters. Additionally, digital kiosks have been installed for quick ticket and concession purchases, streamlining the customer experience.
