CITIZEN Zenshin 60 Series Unveils Four New Models with Retro Style and Super Titanium™

Japanese watchmaker CITIZEN has unveiled four new additions to its Zenshin 60 series, a collection that blends vintage 1970s watch designs with the advanced properties of Super Titanium™ material. The series name, "Zenshin," signifies "moving forward" and "wholeheartedly" in Japanese, reflecting the brand's commitment to innovation and sincere craftsmanship.

These new timepieces are designed to be versatile, with CITIZEN enlisting male brand ambassador, singer WeiBird (韋禮安), to showcase their adaptability in a recent advertising campaign. WeiBird is featured in casual attire, highlighting how the watches complement everyday style. The collection's design features an octagonal case paired with a 12-sided polished bezel, creating a clean, geometric aesthetic. Both the case and the integrated bracelet incorporate classic retro elements, refined with subtle modern adjustments for contemporary proportions.

A key feature of the Zenshin 60 series is its use of CITIZEN's proprietary Super Titanium™ material. This advanced alloy, treated with Duratect surface hardening technology, is over five times harder than stainless steel. It offers a lightweight feel, weighing approximately 100 grams, and is hypoallergenic, ensuring comfort for extended wear. The collection's name also references the 60-hour power reserve provided by the automatic movements within these watches.

The four new models come in striking dial colors: blue, lake blue, green, and sand. Each dial boasts a unique texture inspired by natural minerals, with a gradient effect deepening from the edge to the center. A sub-dial at the 4 o'clock position adds visual interest to the dial layout. The watches also feature a transparent case back, allowing wearers to admire the intricate workings of the automatic movement. Each new model is priced at 23,800 yuan.
