Cloudy Skies and Rain Expected in North Rhine-Westphalia to Start the Week

Residents of North Rhine-Westphalia can expect a mixed bag of weather as the new week begins, with clouds and scattered rain anticipated on Monday. The German Weather Service (DWD) forecasts variable cloud cover, particularly in the northeastern parts of the state, where showers are likely.

Temperatures on Monday will reach a high of around 19 degrees Celsius in the highlands and up to 23 degrees Celsius along the Rhine River. Winds are expected to be light to moderate. The weather is forecast to improve on Tuesday, with conditions becoming partly cloudy to clear and predominantly dry.

However, the respite may be short-lived. While Tuesday is expected to remain mostly dry, a slight risk of rain persists in the northeast. Temperatures are predicted to hover between 22 and 24 degrees Celsius, with continued light to moderate winds.

Wednesday is forecast to bring back clouds and showers. The DWD also indicated a low probability of isolated thunderstorms developing throughout the day. Maximum temperatures are expected to be between 21 and 23 degrees Celsius, accompanied by moderate winds.
