Club América Unveils 2026-27 Home Jersey: 'Greatness Continues'

Club América has officially revealed its new home uniform for the 2026-27 season, a kit designed to be part of the celebrations leading up to the institution's 110th anniversary. The club announced the launch across its digital platforms with a message emphasizing its enduring legacy in football. "Greatness continues, Adidas and Club América present the home jersey for 2026-2027 heading towards the 110th anniversary," the statement from the Coapa-based club reads.

The new uniform features a dominant cream-yellow base. A large pattern inspired by the club's shield is prominent on the chest, with the official Eagles emblem and Adidas logo centered. The sleeves incorporate navy blue and red details, a combination that evokes some of the most iconic uniforms from the 1980s and 1990s. Traditional black and red stripes adorn the shoulders, and the phrase "Grandes de Corazón" (Greatness from the Heart) appears on the back of the neck, honoring the passion of the Americanista fanbase.

Crafted by Adidas, the jersey is now available at authorized retailers. It aims to strengthen the bond between the team and its supporters through a design rich in historical significance. Santiago Baños, the club's sporting president, highlighted the jersey's meaning: "As we approach our 110th anniversary, this jersey symbolizes what our institution represents: history, leadership, and the constant pursuit of excellence."

Pricing for the fan version is 1,999 pesos, while the player's edition costs 2,999 pesos. Long-sleeved versions are priced at 2,199 pesos for fans and 3,199 pesos for the professional version. Club América will debut this kit in the Apertura 2026 tournament, starting on July 18 against Querétaro at the Estadio Corregidora, marking the beginning of a new sporting era with a uniform that celebrates over a century of history.
