CMF by Nothing launches first open-ear earbuds, 'Clip Pro'

Tech brand CMF by Nothing has introduced its first open-ear earbuds, the 'CMF Clip Pro', addressing common user complaints about comfort and sound quality in this earphone category. The company highlights a '3-point clip' design intended to distribute pressure across the ear, enhancing comfort during extended wear. A flexible 'C-bridge' made with a titanium wire core aims to adapt to various ear shapes, ensuring a secure fit. Each earbud weighs a mere 5.9 grams, making them suitable for daily commutes and intense physical activities without causing discomfort.

Usability is further enhanced by CMF's signature 'smart dial' integrated into the charging case. This allows users to adjust volume, control music playback, manage calls, and handle pairing without needing to take out their smartphone. Physical controls are also present on the earbuds themselves. The Clip Pro is available in three colors: Dark Grey, Light Grey, and Coral, reflecting CMF's distinctive design aesthetic.

CMF has also focused on call quality and privacy, incorporating VPU-based 'Clear Voice Technology' and four HD microphones to ensure clear voice transmission even in noisy environments. A 'Sound Seal' system is designed to minimize external sound leakage, protecting privacy during calls and music listening.

The battery offers up to 10 hours of playback on a single charge, extending to a total of 32.5 hours with the charging case. A quick 10-minute charge provides an additional 4 hours of playback. A CMF representative stated that the Clip Pro's emphasis on physical controls enhances user convenience, offering a fast and intuitive way to manage audio and calls, thereby proposing a new audio lifestyle that seamlessly transitions between daily activities and exercise.
