COLA platform apologizes for cyberattack-induced shutdown, announces service restoration via NJ

The COLA platform has issued a sincere apology to its users for the significant losses and disruption caused by its prolonged shutdown. The platform experienced a malicious cyberattack on October 25, 2024, which led to a suspension of operations. After 420 days of dedicated technical efforts, COLA announced the full restoration of all user data with complete integrity.

COLA's original application is no longer functional. However, the platform has acquired the NJ platform, and all COLA users can now log in to NJ using their existing accounts. The NJ app is reported to have secure and stable operational capabilities, marking the official resumption of services for COLA users. New downloads are available on the Google and Apple stores.

The platform has made several solemn promises to its users. Firstly, all existing funds, income, and subsidies in user accounts remain valid. Secondly, COLA will issue exclusive compensation to personal accounts to address losses from the shutdown. Thirdly, user funds can be withdrawn at any time, freely and quickly, ensuring asset security. Finally, users are entitled to a compensation amount of 300CC, approximately 600,000 Naira, to cover losses during the shutdown period. COLA has also implemented multiple security protection and emergency response systems to prevent future issues.
