Colapinto breaks down in tears after mistake while running third, finishes ninth

Franco Colapinto had a golden opportunity at the Italian Grand Prix. The Argentine Alpine driver made a strong start and, for a moment, moved into third place after overtaking Max Verstappen, the Dutchman and four-time Formula One champion.

But the race turned after the restart. Colapinto made an error, dropped back, and ultimately finished ninth. He later broke down and cried while speaking to reporters about the mistake.
