Collaborations and Forums Announced for Economic and Social Development

Hana Financial Group is collaborating with the Small and Medium Business Support Agency on the 'Hana On, Young On' project. This initiative aims to revitalize regional economies by supporting young small business owners in establishing their ventures. The partnership seeks to foster a virtuous cycle of regional economic growth through these efforts.

The Gyeonggi Provincial Government, in conjunction with the Gyeonggi Regional Employment and Labor Administration and the Ministry of Employment and Labor, convened a meeting to enhance local employment and labor policies. Discussions focused on utilizing data-driven policy-making, highlighted by an introduction to the Gyeonggi Provincial Employment Situation Board.

Several other organizations have announced upcoming events and initiatives. The Korean Society of Civil Engineers will host a forum on construction policy innovation and the role of engineers in the AI era. The Ministry of Gender Equality and Family, alongside the National Police Agency, will hold the first meeting of a policy council to strengthen responses to violence against women, including stalking and dating violence.

Furthermore, the city of Siheung is launching a photo contest for images of the Shihwa Industrial Complex taken before 2010 as part of its 'Museum Without Walls' project. The Housing & Urban Guarantee Corporation (HUG) is inviting public participation in an AI scenario competition to innovate housing welfare services. The Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs, in partnership with the Provisional Government of the Republic of Korea Memorial Hall and the Korea Heritage Overseas Information Service, will open a special exhibition in Washington D.C. commemorating Korean independence.
