Colo Colo president: Sosa's continuity assured, Palacios' return possible

Aníbal Mosa, president of Blanco y Negro, has provided an update on player movements and future plans for Colo Colo. He confirmed that defender Joaquín Sosa's position at the club is secure, with options for either extending his loan deal or purchasing his contract outright.

Mosa also commented on the potential return of Carlos Palacios, a player with strong ties to the club. "He is a great player, a Colo Colo fan, a person we care about a lot, and the doors will always be open," Mosa stated. However, he emphasized the need to respect Palacios' current contractual obligations with Boca Juniors, adding, "if the possibility arises, we are open in any case."

Looking ahead to the upcoming transfer window, Mosa revealed that discussions have taken place with the technical staff regarding necessary reinforcements for the second half of the season. "We have had conversations with the technical staff, and they are looking for areas to reinforce the team for the second semester," he said. Mosa acknowledged the anticipated difficulty of the upcoming matches, noting, "we cannot give any advantage."
