Colombian foundation sends 12 tons of humanitarian aid to Venezuela for earthquake victims

The Colombian foundation "Juntos Se Puede" has dispatched another 12 tons of humanitarian aid from Colombia to Venezuela. This latest shipment is designated for those affected by earthquakes that occurred on June 24.

According to a statement released on their official X account, the social organization expressed gratitude to donors and volunteers for their support in collecting and transporting the supplies. "This mission left us with one certainty: solidarity always finds a way," the foundation posted, reaffirming its commitment to ongoing assistance in Venezuela.

With this new delivery, the foundation has now channeled a total of 747 tons of aid from Bogotá to Caracas. This total includes 207 tons transported by air on 10 humanitarian flights and 540 tons moved by land in 18 heavy-duty trucks. The foundation's community efforts have involved 38 consecutive days of operations, coordinating volunteers and collecting donations.

The delivered items comprise non-perishable foods, personal hygiene kits, infant formula, diapers, pet food, masks, temporary shelter tents, notebooks, and balls, aimed at supporting the affected areas.
