Colonel Nguyễn Văn Võ Appointed New Head of Traffic Police in Đồng Nai City

Đồng Nai City's Traffic Police Department has a new leader following the appointment of Colonel Nguyễn Văn Võ. The official announcement ceremony took place on the afternoon of August 20, where Major General Nguyễn Đức Hải, Director of the Đồng Nai City Public Security, presented Colonel Võ with his new assignment.

Colonel Võ, previously the Head of the Criminal Execution and Judicial Support Police Department, will now lead the city's traffic police force. Major General Hải congratulated Colonel Võ, urging him to leverage his experience and sense of responsibility. He emphasized the importance of unity within the department to effectively manage traffic situations and ensure road safety in the region.

The Director also called on the entire Traffic Police Department to maintain solidarity and support Colonel Võ in his new role. He stressed the need to enhance state management of traffic, proactively prevent and address emerging issues, and ultimately contribute to safe and smooth traffic flow, supporting socio-economic development and public peace.

Colonel Võ, born in 1974 and originally from Ninh Bình province, has a varied background within the police force. Before the administrative unit merger, he served as the Head of Cẩm Mỹ District Police and later as Head of the Administration Management Department for Social Order. Following the merger, he held positions as Deputy Head of the Traffic Police Department before leading the Criminal Execution and Judicial Support Police Department. The previous Head of the Traffic Police Department, Colonel Trần Trọng Thủy, was appointed Deputy Director of the Đồng Nai City Public Security on July 24.
