Colonia Singer Ivana Lovrić on Her Spiritual Transformation: ‘I Replaced Fear with Freedom, and Faith Comes First’

Ivana Lovrić says spirituality has changed her life after a difficult period that left her facing years of creative block. The Colonia singer now practices meditation and spiritual rituals every day, describing them as a force that completely transformed her.

She also spoke openly about the strain of combining motherhood with a music career. Two years after her daughter was born, Lovrić continues to manage numerous performances while the child still needs attention at night. Lovrić often returns from concerts at dawn, leaving her chronically short of sleep.

She described the situation as challenging but said she is satisfied with her life. Her daughter’s start at kindergarten has made the routine easier. Lovrić also recalled taking the child with her to performances, calling it her worst decision because the experience exhausted them both.

Lovrić, who has been married for three years, said faith is “the most important thing of all.” She said she became more spiritual after reaching what she described as the bottom of a difficult period. “I am grateful for that bottom. Lovrić and her husband announced the arrival of their child on social media.
