Comedian Lee Jin-ho Discharged From Hospital After Cerebral Hemorrhage Treatment

Comedian Lee Jin-ho has been discharged from the hospital following treatment for an acute cerebral hemorrhage. His agency, SM C&C, confirmed on August 9 that he is resting at home and recovering.

Lee was hospitalized in April at a university hospital in Seoul, where he underwent treatment and rehabilitation. While he was reportedly discharged around May, he has been experiencing some residual effects, including partial paralysis that affects his communication and mobility. Despite these challenges, he is reportedly able to engage in light conversation and is gradually regaining some movement.

Meanwhile, Lee Jin-ho is slated to appear in court for his first trial on August 14. He faces charges related to illegal gambling and violating traffic laws by driving under the influence. The Suwon District Prosecutors' Office, Yeoju Branch, indicted him without detention on May 29. Prosecutors allege that Lee drove approximately 100 kilometers from Incheon to Yangpyeong in the early morning of September 24 last year, with a blood alcohol content of 0.11%, which is grounds for license revocation. He is also accused of engaging in illegal online gambling multiple times.
